Institute of Aviation & Aviation Safety (IAAS)
The Institute of Aviation & Aviation Safety (IAAS) is the Education & Training Arm of the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP). Established with the objective of delivering structured aviation education and skill-based training, IAAS provides academic, regulatory, and professional development programmes aligned with national and international aviation standards.
IAAS offers a wide spectrum of programmes including Pilot Ground Training, Cabin Crew Training, Aviation Safety & Hospitality, Ground Staff Executive Courses, and specialised short-term certification programmes. The institute integrates academic rigour with industry exposure to prepare students for careers in airlines, airports, and aviation organisations
OVERVIEW / HISTORY
The Federation of Indian Pilots was established to represent and support Indian pilots, while contributing to aviation safety, regulatory improvement, and professional excellence.
Recognising the growing need for structured aviation education and skill development, IAAS was launched as the academic and training wing of FIP. The institute bridges the gap between regulatory knowledge, operational training, and industry readiness by combining experienced aviation professionals with structured academic delivery.
Over the years, IAAS has expanded its portfolio to include university-affiliated programmes, vocational skill courses, and safety-oriented training modules, serving aspiring aviation professionals across India.
