Terms and conditions (Institute of Aviation & Aviation Safety – IAAS / Federation of Indian Pilots FIP)

1. General

1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern admission, training, and all services offered by IAAS (Institute of Aviation & Aviation Safety), the training arm of the Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP).

1.2 By enrolling in any course, the student agrees to abide by all rules, regulations, and policies of IAAS.

2. Admission & Eligibility

2.1 Admission is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria prescribed for each course.

2.2 IAAS reserves the right to verify academic and personal credentials submitted by applicants.

2.3 Admission may be cancelled if any information provided is found to be false or misleading.

3. Course Structure & Delivery

3.1 Course content, duration, modules, and schedules are subject to revision based on academic, regulatory, or operational requirements.

3.2 IAAS reserves the right to reschedule classes, modify faculty, or adjust training formats (online/offline/hybrid) as required.

3.3 Attendance is mandatory. Minimum attendance criteria may be prescribed for course completion.

4. Fees & Payment

4.1 Fees must be paid as per the schedule communicated at the time of admission.

4.2 IAAS reserves the right to withhold access to classes, assessments, or certification in case of nonpayment.

4.3 All fees are subject to applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Certification

5.1 Certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the course, subject to attendance, assessments, and fee clearance.

5.2 IAAS certificates do not constitute a regulatory licence unless specifically stated.

6. Student Conduct

6.1 Students are expected to maintain discipline, professionalism, and adherence to grooming standards (where applicable).

6.2 Misconduct, indiscipline, or violation of institute policies may result in suspension or termination without refund.

7. Placement Assistance

7.1 IAAS may provide guidance, training, and placement assistance.

7.2 IAAS does not guarantee job placement in any airline, airport, or organisation.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 IAAS shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from course participation.

8.2 IAAS is not responsible for regulatory changes (DGCA / Airline policies) affecting career outcomes.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All study material, content, and training resources are the intellectual property of IAAS/FIP.

9.2 Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

10.2 Jurisdiction shall be Mumbai courts
